The total cost of the Esthetician Program is $12,500.00, including required texts.

  • Includes Milady’s Standard and Foundations Esthetics textbook (12th Edition) & Workbooks in the online Moodle platform
  • Includes Milady’s Skin Care and Cosmetic Ingredients Dictionary
  • All esthetic supplies and materials needed for classroom and clinics
  • Student Kit: Lash, Make-Up, Tools, Skincare, Scrubs, Travel Bag.
  • Student Premium membership with the Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) and your student insurance policy.
  • State Board Exam Preparation and Practical Exam Kit
  • DORA Rules and Regulations, PSI Guidelines / Requirements

Of that cost, $2,500.00 is a deposit, due at the time Enrollment Agreement is submitted. Cost of texts, materials, and supplies are non-refundable. It is required that payment be made in full by or on the orientation date listed on student’s Enrollment Agreement if no special payment arrangements have been made prior to that date. Cost subject to change without notice. Students must be 16 years or older to take the course. Note: Due to Colorado law, students will need to take the State Licensing Boards in order to obtain their Certification in Esthetics. Upon completion of licensing, Dermaplaning/Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peel Certifications are included if the student completed the esthetics program at Rise Aesthetic Institute.

Manual Resurfacing

The total cost of the Manual Resurfacing Certification is $700.00, including required texts. The course is included with The Purchase of the Rise Aesthetic Institute Esthetician Program and completion of State Licensing. Of that cost, $100.00 is a deposit, due at the time Enrollment Agreement is submitted. Cost of texts, materials, and supplies are non-refundable. It is required that payment be made in full by or on the orientation date listed on student’s Enrollment Agreement if no special payment arrangements have been made prior to that date. Chemical Peel Course

The total cost of the Chemical Peel Certification is $600.00, including required texts. The course is included with The Purchase of the Rise Aesthetic Institute Esthetician Program and completion of State Licensing. Of that cost, $100.00 is a deposit, due at the time Enrollment Agreement is submitted. Cost of texts, materials, and supplies are non-refundable. Micro-Needling

The total cost of the Microneedling Certification is $600.00, including required texts. Of that cost, $100.00 is a deposit, due at the time Enrollment Agreement is submitted. Cost of texts, materials, and supplies are non-refundable. It is required that payment be made in full by or on the orientation date listed on student’s Enrollment Agreement if no special payment arrangements have been made prior to that date. Cost subject to change without notice. Students must be 16 years or older to take the course and have successfully completed esthetician/cosmetology license or nursing license.

Cosmetic Injectables

The total cost of the Cosmetic Injectable Certification is $6,000.00, including required texts. Of that cost, $100.00 is a deposit, due at the time Enrollment Agreement is submitted. Cost of texts, materials, and supplies are non-refundable. It is required that payment be made in full by or on the orientation date listed on student’s Enrollment Agreement if no special payment arrangements have been made prior to that date. Cost subject to change without notice. Students must be 16 years or older to take the course and have successfully completed esthetician/cosmetology license, nursing license, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or medical professional.

NCEA CERTIFCIATION (NATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR ESTHETICIANS)

This course is not approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education/DPOS and is offered as a supplemental, third-party certification through the National Coalition of Estheticians Association (NCEA). The course is proctored by Rise Aesthetic Institute but is not part of the DPOS-regulated curriculum. The total cost of the NCEA Certification is $800, which includes required study materials and access to the national certification exam. Of this amount, a $100 registration fee is due at the time the Enrollment Agreement is submitted. All study materials, texts, supplies, and exam fees related to this certification are non-refundable. Full payment is due by the orientation date listed in the Enrollment Agreement, unless an approved payment arrangement is in place. Pricing and exam access are subject to change without notice, based on updates from NCEA or Rise Aesthetic Institute. This certification course is intended to help eligible estheticians pursue advanced national credentials. It does not replace or qualify as state licensure. Students must meet NCEA exam eligibility requirements and hold a valid esthetician license to sit for the exam. PAYMENT PLANS

Opening doors for more students to pursue their passions, we proudly provide an in-house monthly financing options. Our Financial Advisors are available to guide you through the process.

Tuition for all programs may be paid using one of the following arrangements, subject to approval by Rise Aesthetic Institute. Students must finalize payment arrangements no later than 10 business days prior to the first day of class. Students who fail to meet payment deadlines may not be permitted to attend class.

Full Payment (Cash, Check, or Credit Card): Students may pay tuition in full via personal check, cash, or any major credit card. Full payment is due no later than 10 business days prior to the program start date. Credit/debit card transactions may incur a processing fee of up to 3.5%.

Long-Term Financing (External): Students may apply for financing through independent third-party lenders (e.g., local credit unions, LendingTree, Credible, or similar institutions). Rise Aesthetic Institute is not affiliated with, nor responsible for, decisions or terms set by outside financial institutions.

In-House Payment Plans (Esthetician Program Only): In-house payment plans are available for students enrolling in the full Esthetician Program and include a $250 in-house processing fee (added to the total tuition amount). All plans require a $2,500 down payment, due at the time of enrollment.

  • 3-Month Plan: $2,500 down payment, Three monthly installments of $3,417, First installment due 10 business days before the class start date, followed by 2 recurring monthly payments
  • 6-Month Plan: $2,500 down payment, Six monthly installments of $1,708, First installment due 10 business days before the class start date, followed by 5 recurring monthly payments
  • 12-Month Plan: $2,500 down payment, Twelve monthly installments of $854, First installment due 10 business days before the class start date, followed by 11 recurring monthly payments

Missed or late payments may result in a suspension of attendance until the account is brought current.

Advanced Course Payment Plans (Manual Resurfacing, Chemical Peels, Microneedling): $200 down payment due at time of enrollment, Remaining balance due 10 business days before the class start date, In-house payment plans are available upon request and approval

Cosmetic Injector Course Payment Plan: $1,500 down payment due at time of enrollment, Three total installments of $1,500, First installment due 10 business days before the class start date, Two additional recurring monthly payments of $1,500

Additional Notes: Students are responsible for the full cost of tuition and any associated processing or financing fees. Students using Cherry Financing will incur an additional 14% administrative fee to offset the cost incurred by the school. All payment plans are subject to approval by Rise Aesthetic Institute and must be documented in the signed Enrollment Agreement.

STUDENT LOANS

Rise Aesthetic Institute does not currently participate in Title IV Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). However, we offer a variety of private and alternative financing options to help students manage tuition and program-related costs.

Private & Alternative Loan Options

Students may apply for education loans through private lenders or financial institutions. Popular options include:

  • Ascent Career Training Loans – Designed specifically for trade schools and non-degree programs

  • Meritize – Considers academic, military, and work history to determine loan eligibility

You may also consider speaking with your local bank or credit union, where existing client relationships may provide access to competitive private loan options. Most banks require in-person consultation for student loans.

0% Interest Credit Card Options

Some students choose to use 0% introductory APR credit cards (such as those offered by Chase, Citi, or other major banks) to cover tuition with manageable repayment terms. Be sure to review all terms before applying.

TRANSCRIPT, DIPLOMA, CERTIFICATE, & REGISTRATION HOLD POLICY

(Required under Colorado HB22-1049)

A. Purpose
This policy is adopted in compliance with Colorado HB22-1049 and outlines the circumstances under which Rise Aesthetic Institute may withhold transcripts, diplomas, or certificates due to outstanding debt, as well as applicable exemptions and processes for resolution.

B. Scope
This policy applies to all current and former students of Rise Aesthetic Institute, excluding foreign students as defined under C.R.S. 23-1-113.5, who have outstanding debts related to tuition, room and board, or institutional financial aid owed to the school.

C. Policy

  1. Transcript, Diploma, or Certificate Holds
    Rise Aesthetic Institute may withhold a transcript, diploma, or certificate if a student owes more than $200 in unpaid tuition, fees, or institutional financial aid. This hold will be applied after 30 days of non-payment following the due date or after formal withdrawal. Accounts may be assigned to a third-party collection agency if the debt exceeds $500 and remains unpaid for 60 days or more.

  2. Exemptions
    A student or former student will be granted an exemption to receive their transcript, diploma, or certificate if they can demonstrate that it is required for one of the following purposes:

    • Job application

    • Transfer to another postsecondary institution

    • Application for state, federal, or institutional financial aid

    • Pursuit of opportunities in the military or national guard

    • Pursuit of other postsecondary opportunities

  3. Exemption Process
    Students requesting an exemption must submit a written request along with documentation supporting the applicable reason listed above. Requests should be submitted to:

    The school will review all exemption requests and respond in writing within seven (7) business days. If the request is approved, the transcript, diploma, or certificate will be released. If the request is denied, a written explanation will be provided.

  4. Registration Holds
    Students may be prevented from registering for future courses or enrolling in new programs if they owe more than $200 in unpaid tuition or fees for more than 30 days. Accounts exceeding $500 may also be referred to a third-party collection agency after 60 days past due.

  5. Payment Plan Option

HOW TO PAY

  • Pay in Person during Office Hours: You can also make payments in person during office hours. Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit cards, checks, and bank drafts.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For applicants who cancel enrollment or students who withdraw from enrollment, a fair and equitable settlement will apply. This policy applies to all terminations for any reason, including student decision, course or program cancellation, or school closure. Any monies due to the applicant or student shall be refunded within 30 calendar days of the official date of cancellation or withdrawal.

Official Date of Termination or Withdrawal

The official date of termination or withdrawal shall be determined as the earlier of:

  • The date the school receives written notice of withdrawal from the student.
  • The date the student is terminated for violating published school policy.
  • The date the student fails to return from an approved leave of absence (the earlier of the expected return date or written notice of non-return).
  • The date the school determines the student is no longer in attendance (monitored at least every 14 calendar days).
  • The date of cancellation if the student withdraws prior to the start of class.

A student will only be considered officially withdrawn once the Rise Aesthetic Institute Drop Form is fully completed, signed, dated, and received by the school. Poor attendance, lack of participation, verbal communication of intent to withdraw, or submission of unrelated paperwork—with or without reference to dropping—does not constitute formal notification of cancellation or withdrawal.

Refund Eligibility and Conditions

  • Students not accepted into the school will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
  • Students who cancel within three (3) business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement will receive a full refund, regardless of whether instruction has begun.
  • Students who cancel after three (3) business days, but prior to the start of class, will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid, less a cancellation charge not to exceed $150 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less.
  • Students who withdraw after instruction begins will receive a refund based on the percentage of program completed, as shown in the table below.
  • If the program is permanently closed or discontinued during a period in which the student could have reasonably completed the training, a pro rata refund will be provided unless a Teach-Out Agreement is in place.

Refunds are calculated based on the greater percentage of either scheduled program hours completed (out of 600 total) or chapters completed (out of 26 total).

his hybrid program includes both in-person and distance education components. Refunds apply to tuition and fees only and exclude costs related to kits, books, supplies, and non-refundable administrative fees, which will be calculated separately at the time of withdrawal.

Refund Table – Based on Scheduled Hours and Chapters Completed:

  • Full Refund in the case of a student not being accepted into the school.
  • Within the first 10% of the Program – (1 – 60 hours completed / 1-2 Chapters) – 90% less Cancellation Charge
  • After 10% but within the first 25% of the Program – (61 – 150 hours completed / 3-6 Chapters) – 75% less Cancellation Charge
  • After 25% but within the first 50% of the Program- (151 – 300 hours completed / 7-13 Chapters) – 50% less Cancellation Charge
  • After 50% but within the first 75% of the Program- (301 – 450 hours completed / 14-19 Chapters) – 25% less Cancellation Charge
  • After 75% – (451+ hours completed / 20+ Chapters) – (If Paid in Full, Cancellation Charge is Not In Effect)- NO REFUND

Additional Refund Provisions:

  • Refunds are calculated from the student’s last date of attendance or participation, not based on presence or grades.
  • If a student is unable to continue due to documented mitigating circumstances (e.g., disabling illness, death in the immediate family), a reasonable and fair settlement will be made.
  • Refunds will be issued within 30 calendar days of the official determination of withdrawal.
  • Students who withdraw or are terminated will be assessed a $150 cancellation/administrative fee, unless otherwise waived.
  • This refund policy applies to tuition and fees charged in the Enrollment Agreement. Other miscellaneous charges the student may have incurred at the institution (e.g., extra kit materials, kits and books, products, unreturned school property, etc.) will be calculated separately at the time of withdrawal. All fees are identified in the school catalog and Enrollment Agreement.

Postponement of Starting Date: Whether the postponement is for the convenience of the school or the student, a written agreement must be signed by the student and the school. The agreement must set forth: a. Whether the postponement is for the convenience of the school or the student; and b. A deadline for the new start date, beyond which the start date will not be postponed. If the course is not commenced, or the student fails to attend by the new start date set forth in the agreement, the student will be entitled to a full refund of prepaid tuition and fees within 30 days of the deadline of the new start date set forth in the agreement, determined in accordance with the school’s refund policy and all applicable laws and rules concerning the Private Occupational Education Act of 1981.

Non-Refundable Administrative and Processing Fees:

Credit or debit card processing fees, installment payment plan fees (including the $250 in-house payment plan processing fee), and any third-party financing service fees (such as those associated with Cherry Financing) are classified as non-refundable administrative costs. These charges are not considered part of the tuition and fees governed by this refund policy and will not be refunded under any circumstances, regardless of withdrawal status.

REFUND APPEALS

Appealing a Refund Decision

If you find yourself in a situation where you need to appeal a refund decision, here’s what you need to know:

  1. Submission Deadline: Appeal requests must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office within one year of your withdrawal date. Appeals submitted more than one year after withdrawal will not be reviewed.
  2. One-Time Approval: We can approve a refund appeal for only one program throughout your academic career at Rise Aesthetic Institute, even in cases of documented extraordinary events. This includes all voluntary and involuntary separations. For instance, if you have a pre-existing health condition, it’s essential to carefully consider your ability to attend classes before enrolling. Appeals for medical conditions are granted on a one-time basis only.
  3. Books and Supplies: Please note that books, supplies, kits, and consumables are non-refundable.
  4. Supporting Documentation: You’ll be required to provide supporting documentation for certain situations. Documentation must be in English unless translated.
    • Medical: A dated and signed letter from your doctor on letterhead explaining the illness, along with medical bills or other relevant medical documentation.
    • Death of an Immediate Family Member: A death certificate or obituary from the newspaper is required. Immediate family includes spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, parents-in-law, siblings-in-law, and other relatives.
    • Active Duty Deployment: Deployment papers stating Active Duty status are necessary.
    • College Error: An explanation on Rise Aesthetic Institute letterhead from the appropriate administrator, such as the School Director, identifying the college’s error, must be provided.
